Is this just a backup service?

No. Organisations see a continuity dashboard, protected data, a usable fallback workspace and tested handover arrangements. You don't need to understand JSON, database relationships or cloud hosting.

Can staff keep working if our software becomes unavailable?

An authorised administrator can open the latest continuity package in a standalone application, search records, view outstanding tasks and produce a working list for staff.

The workspace is a read-only snapshot. An optional, separate mechanism can record work completed during an outage, so it can be reconciled once normal service resumes.

Who controls access to the continuity packages?

Your organisation does. Packages are held in storage you control, and access to them sits with your organisation rather than with the original software supplier.

How does the Continuity Engine work for software developers?

Accepted Answer

You integrate a software component or API with your application through a defined interface. It packages your customers' data, describes how records relate, verifies each export and transfers continuity packages to storage your customers control.

There is still integration and support work for each application, but you don't need to build an export and recovery system from scratch, and you can offer branded continuity assurance to your own customers.
